When I first started at Marathon Health I thought I had landed the dream job and it truly felt like I had found a company that cares so much about their employees and the patients they treat. Fast forward 5 years later and the company has done a 360. The new CEO keeps buying other companies (our health, cerner, everside) and now it has become a much bigger company. The bigger the company gets the more their employees start to feel like a number. They took away all of Marathons original family type of environment. The raises suck, no compensation or bonuses for clinics that are top performers, health insurance coverage getting worse every year, no control over providers schedule and so many other things but I don’t have time to explain it all.
