Pros

- Great salary - Good people to work with - Lots to learn - In general, higher management are very open to hearing about improvements to make or any issues the staff are going through - Home healthcare department is going through a lot of changes all the time to ensure the best service is provided - Promotions are way more easily attainable than any other place I have worked in, you just need to show that you're a hard worker and serious about your job! - Christmas bonuses are great - Work/life balance is good

Cons

- Lots of issues with logistics that PMs need to take full blame and ownership for, although it is not their fault - Home healthcare is still relatively new, so if you want a well-established department to work in, it's perhaps not the best to work in

Pros

There are no pros if I did not get hired

Cons

Pay advertised was not accurate * Lack of transparency in compensation * Wasted time and travel expenses I had a very frustrating experience with the hiring process. I attended the interview and was told my performance was “perfect,” which made it seem like I was a strong candidate. However, the role was advertised at a minimum of $30/hour, and later I was told the actual pay was closer to $20/hour. That’s a major discrepancy and feels very misleading. On top of that, I ultimately received a rejection despite the positive feedback. Between the misleading pay and the outcome, this process felt inconsistent and unprofessional. I also spent time and money on travel (gas) to attend the interview, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and could have been avoided with clearer and more honest communication upfront.
