Pros

I’d been a writer for years, but never had agency experience. That all changed when I landed at MarketSmiths, and I am so happy I did. Here I work with a small, super collaborative and talented team. We have a wide range of clients, everything from tech to health, start ups to mega brands. Inside of one month my writing skills took a huge leap forward, just from having to produce a large volume of work for such a diverse book of business. If you want to practice the craft of copywriting, this is a good place to be.

Cons

The only con I’ll offer is that if you’re looking for a walk in the park, this is not the place for you. The culture is one that demands excellence, and you’re expected to perform at a high level. In addition to your writing responsibilities, you’ll have to manage your own projects for the most part -- again, I’ve found this to be very valuable experience, but it can be challenging to juggle it all. The bottom line is, if you’re ready to take your copywriting craft to a new level, MarketSmiths will push you there.
