Pros

Benefits are great at marriott. Work is good too. There is no paid lunch break. The benifits are marriott are great though. I have full medical insurance. I have full dental insurance. I have full vision insurance. I have full 401 k. I have life insurance. I have insurance for my kids. I am working 50 hours a week. I do alot of work all day long and believe i do more work then the pay I recieve. I want to get a promotion soon. If i get a promotion soon i might enjoy working at marriott more. The job is ok.

Cons

I think some of the downsides of working at marriot is that they expect alot of work out each employee for little compensation. I worked at other jobs that did not require as much work and paid more money. The benifits at marriott make up for some of the lower pay but i still do not think they compensate one hunderd percent. I have a 15 minutes drive to work. I like working during the day because it is nice. If you are interested in working at marriott then you might want to look into it. The jobs there are great.

Pros

Department is great! Hours are flexible with respect to workload. Career growth at the company is outstanding as long as you show dedication and commitment to the role.

Cons

"Full time" hourly employees face cuts during off seasons which makes the job posting information about full time hours unclear and is only addressed after the hiring process concludes during orientation and is not highlighted and often quickly discussed to stream light on the perks that do not calculate the negative impact on the factors left out after the fact.
