Pros
Relaxed, very low to no stress, good benefits
Cons
Here are some of the things I experienced: Their policy regarding remote work during Covid changed frequently, which was tough on someone trying to balance childcare. My manager was treated like absolute trash because they didn't fall lock step with the executive team. As a result, the team I was on was also treated poorly. There were definitely favorite people who were allowed to bend the "strict" policies. No challenging work. No indication they wanted to adapt or change to new ways of doing things. I was told point blank they "don't do things like that around here" when I suggested any new idea. After respectfully bringing up concerns about discrimination, the attitude towards me changed, and not in a good way. I was shown little to no compassion during a family crisis. I was salary, but required to take a 30 min lunch in the middle of the day. I couldn't take it at the beginning or end of the day, even for medical appointments. They definitely treated salary employees like hourly/retail employees. It seems small, but the only Christmas party was for management only. Non management was given a door dash gift card. They promote and demote based on favoritism and family ties, not performance.
