Cons
MateHR is a recruitment agency that promises a commission structure to recruiters. On paper, it looks clear and simple — you find a candidate, and you get a commission.
The problem is that almost no one gets hired — maybe 0.5% out of 100%. Maris has an army of recruiters who work for him for free, so he isn’t losing anything.
When I joined the agency, there was a Staff Engineer position to fill. When I left 3 months later, that same position was still open.
Maris also constantly gives different numbers — one day you need to provide 5–7 candidates so one gets hired, and the next day the figure increases to 20.
I would recommend avoiding this company and saving your time and money, as it almost looks like a scam.
