I got an internship offer from Mavenhive, in a pool campus drive, which got converted to a full-time job. I have been working here for less than a year. - The recruitment process was very peaceful. I had never seen such an understanding and well-disposed panel in any of the previous company drives that I had attended. - During the internship, we were trained by the most senior officials and every intern was assigned a mentor. Within a month we learnt javascript, ruby, rails, react,(obviously, a TDD approach) and the most important 'good coding practice with simple design'. Oh yeah, we had different games every day to keep us active. The next two months were spent on interesting internal projects and needless to say, we got to learn and work on a lot more new technologies. - The amount of support and care you get here is gonna keep you growing. - The most important pro is that there is no ego or any positional pride stuff here. - The best place to begin your career. - Interns also get Macbook and other benefits. - Unlimited snacks and free food :P

No Cons. I haven't faced any downsides yet.

This is one of the most exciting places I have worked with. The people are great - honest, smart & have a great sense of humor. They care about you and what you want to do. The work is fairly technical and the support system to help with learning more, attending / presenting conferences, training etc. is very good and helps quite a bit.

Given that its very small and a startup, there is almost no operations processes - HR, marketing, sales etc. That means its up to everyone in the company to make sure you do your bit. Of course, this is billable to the company so you are not doing it for free, but you have to realize that you have to do it in the first place and do it well. This can get intimidating to some people.
