Pros
The company does have a reward based pay system, which makes putting the effort tout significantly easier. There are a lot of opportunities within the company for advancement, and promotion. PTO time, benefits, vacation time, and managers having sundays off is very nice.
Cons
This category grows by the day. Store managers are puppets. We have no authority whatsoever over anyone in the building. Employees know this and take advantage of it at every opportune moment so much so that they will call HR to try and circumvent decisions they dont like. And HR sides with them every time. Severely, I repeat SEVERELY understaffed in almost all positions. Told regularly that we are expendable and we are the reason for every failure within the store no matter the issue. Bad employee? Leadership. Accident? Leadership. Drawer is a penny off? Leadership. Someone spilled oil? Leadership. Cant get parts? Leadership. Point made. It gets incredibly tiring to hear the same answer to everything when SENIOR leadership doesnt change though they're "leaders" as well. So obviously shortcomings are not the fault of THEIR leadership. Just ours. Call center. Worst idea ever. Nothing but headaches and problems. Sell cheap get cheap customers. fact. Why make my paycheck dependent on sales and then basically hand customers cash to do work on their car by the time they are discounted to nothing. You would be less upside down if you sent the tech home and gave the customer 10$ cash out of the drawer. Ridiculous. Paycheck based on profit so eliminate profit. I averaged my final scores to get my overall ranking.
