Pros
- Decent salary compared to other places in London - Decent hours compared to other places in London - You'll certainly learn a lot and have great things to put on your CV
Cons
- Pay is not congruent with the hours you work (varies between departments) - Job promotions or lack thereof may be subject to how much the manager likes you/how much you kiss up to the manager rather than your actual ability - Reports such as racism in the workplace are not taken seriously and are even discouraged - Some managers have no respect for their employees and treat them as a commodity rather than a person - Some managers engage in abusive supervision and it doesn't seem that anybody from senior management is aware of this - Some managers are not qualified for the roles they are in (e.g. unable to adequately 'manage' their employees, lacking a basic understanding with regards to food and different diets etc.) but upper management seem to be completely unaware/uninterested with regards to this
