Great people! - Community Outreach Manager Mayk (CA) Employee Review

I worked at Mayk from January to May 2021 and had a great experience overall. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, and each employee is very passionate about the product and the company's mission to democratize music creation. Despite working remotely, I felt connected to each employee, and everyone made an effort to get to know each other and make people feel welcome. The work I did as a software engineer was challenging yet rewarding, and I could see that my work was making an impact at the company.

The main downside working here was the lack of documentation and insight into processes. It felt like doing somewhat random tasks without insight into how tasks fit into product and company strategy.
