Pros

-My first work experience. -I learned how to work food service very quickly, which helped me in my next job. -I learned what working a bad job was like -A couple managers and employees were very cool and could actually do their jobs properly

Cons

- HR doesnt care, even if a manager breaks the rules. - The stress of managers constantly breathing down your neck is horrible - I was fired 1 week into my two week notice, for no valid reason. I went above and beyond working at my job and only made beginners mistakes. -Everyone secretly hates working there, but no one says it out loud. -Few brakes -Workers were very passive agressive, and would badmouth other workers or managers behind their backs. - A Manager threatened employees jobs over small mistakes - A Manager would yell and badmouth employees over minor things -The stress of both the management and atmosphere was unhealthy and unecessary. -l felt like an insignificant cog in a giant machine working there -employees are overworked. -long time managers and employees would sit around when needed most -there were an incredible amount of flies everywhere. I would find them in the coffee creamer sometimes. - A manager was transphobic towards employees behind their backs -the back area and areas that were semi hard to reach were dirty or not cleaned ever. -I hated working here.

Pros

Experience varies heavily depending on the owner/operator you work for. Free and discounted food. 2 weeks PTO. Vision, Dental and Health insurance. Offers rapid development opportunities.

Cons

Work-life balance is nonexistent. In fact, the director of operations has stated numerous times, “Work life balance is a myth”. The company states you are required to work 45 hrs/week minimum; Realistically, GM’s can expect to work 55-60 hours in store with constant calls and messages when home. The company does not count any work done outside of the restaurant toward your 45hr requirement. There is no training for this position as you are expected to figure it out on the job. They offer $2000 per month performance bonus but are always finding new ways to disqualify you and move the goalposts when you actually earn it.
