they are a great firm to work for if you want to learn and be challenged - they offer on site and remote options. They do real forensic accounting (which is more interesting than traditional accounting)

You have to enjoy investigative accounting and really understand data analysis - if you are just looking for a 9 to 5 job they are not what you want

Partners are brilliant and nice. Wonderful mentors when they have time. Brilliant talent throughout the office and wonderful people. There's freedom to take on projects how you want. Lots of ownership of projects. Very welcoming. Lots of opportunities to expand upon various skills. They feed you lots.

There was not a clear hierarchy when I was there and I was confused on who to report to as my department's management had to jump on something else and wasn't around for over a week. I was given projects with little to no context. You need to be an Accountant or from an accounting background. Everything was accounting based and everyone is running around you most of the time so if you aren't familiar with accounting strategies and lingo there is a steep curve. There are long stretches of management being deeply involved in projects while at the same time not having enough projects to go around to keep you busy and people being overworked.
