Pros

Nice break area. Very sheik and hip to appeal to the young crowd. Starting pay is okay for recent college grads that are in need of finding something to fill in that post graduation gap. The people are somewhat friendly from what ((I've)) experienced. Not speaking for other people who say otherwise on here.

Cons

Boy oh boy where do I start! For all my recent college grads that are looking for a start at a new job. Please by all means stay away from this company! I know some of you probably came in through a (temp agency) Which could mean a really good thing or an exceptionally bad experience. GOOD... because you'll be able to leap over all the regular applicants and land a job quick. BAD... because well... Your a temp! Meaning, expect to get treated like the red headed step child. Yes kids... (Welcome to the real world) The first day you come in, they'll most likely have you in this very upscale break area on the first floor. They'll have you socialize before the execs come down to welcome you. They come off very warm and down to earth which is great but that's all apart of their plan to reel you in. They'll then divide you into two groups depending on the positions that were applied for. You'll be whisked away for training and be seated in a room full of outdated computers. Now listen up carefully for what I'm about to tell you :) No matter how many times they will say that "this is training and to not worry" do not believe a lick of it! They are carefully grading you and seeing what faults you may have, whether you are a permanent employee or temp. If your a temp and they feel your not catching on fast enough they will immediately terminate you. And that's only after the first week of training. (Turnover rate is really high btw) My advice would be to speak up and pay attention to every training exercise they present. Don't believe the whole "there's no such thing as a stupid question" rhetoric they'll preach to you. There is in their eyes! The parking is unbelievably bad. The breaks are extremely short. 30 minutes? Seriously... What is this Sears? Most office jobs offer you a full 60 minute break. You can't even take time out to go to the mall to grab some lunch if you wanted to. My advice would be to bring your own lunch because most likely you'll probably won't have enough time to do anything. Your basically trapped on a compound till your shift is over. Anyway, I hope this was helpful for you guys. Don't let this discourage you though. Your experience maybe better than mine. My advice would be to just have this as a starter job to gain the experience but do not let it deter you from your actual career goal. Can't tell you how many people I've seen get lost in the cubicle grave yard. Good luck!
