Pros
- Flexibility in schedule - Free snacks (when they've been re-stocked, that is)
Cons
- Undercompensation/unwillingness to give raises (you HAVE to ask for a yearly raise, otherwise you will never receive one. They don't do performance reviews) - Understaffed, so constant overwork of employees to the point of burn out - Which causes high turn-over rate - Which then increases the unmanageable workload due to the company being understaffed (vicious cycle) - Mandatory OT in order to keep up with unrealistic deadlines - Favoritism and promotion of employees based on how well they're liked/who they know instead of performance-based promotions (which is detrimental due to having people in leadership positions that don't know how to manage a team, which increases turnover, which then increases the work load, etc.) - NO work/life balance whatsoever and are expected to put work first - No regard for employee Mental Health - No support if you're feeling overwhelmed
