Pros

Excellent education opportunities, amazing specialty departments, medicine was advanced, but consistency in use was lacking

Cons

Staff bullying was supported by upper management, unsupportive teammates if you were not a universally liked team member, shift managers would request staff to seek out and report weaknesses and perceived mistakes to report to them so they could report to upper management in an effort to get rid of people - that is a direct quote, Management will use protected statuses to weed out staff members they do not care for, corporate had to visit the facility due to low staff satisfaction scores

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you valued the advanced medicine, specialty departments, and educational opportunities available at MedVet. At the same time, we are very concerned to hear about your experience with team dynamics and leadership practices. MedVet strives to foster an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and supportive, where all caregivers feel safe, valued, and able to do their best work. Concerns related to bullying, fairness, or the use of protected statuses are taken extremely seriously and do not align with our values or expectations. We are committed to promoting strong, compassionate leadership and maintaining open, transparent communication across our hospitals. Feedback like yours is critical in helping us identify areas where we must improve. We strongly encourage current caregivers to reach out to their HR Partner or Hospital Director to share more details so concerns can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.
