Pros
Medely is the worst sales environment I have ever worked in.
Cons
They brought in new execs and directors laying off over 90 people in the process. These execs and directors have no healthcare sales experience or insight into how the healthcare industry even operates and they treat it like a SaaS company when the product isn't software, it's people. Instead of realizing they were given false expectations from the CEO and COO when they onboarded about what Medely does, they blame the reps, who prior to them coming in and changing literally everything, were exceeding their goals. Being able to locate clients with a need is key or their service is useless. Plot twist - the account executives aren't allowed to prospect and aren't given new accounts. Where have you ever heard that being the case. The roll outs from revenue operations during all of 2023 further disabled the ability to succeed and a box of rocks could have made better choices. They set you up to fail and the last six months I was there, the micro-management got to a point I would take PTO to just not have to deal with it. All of the remaining reps there are actively interviewing elsewhere. Less than 10% of their remaining account executives are hitting their goals, because of how unrealistic they are. Mark my words. If you're okay with making the low end of the base salary to get berated before looking for a new job 6 weeks later, then this is the place for you. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Investors force Medely to sell by this time next year.
