Pros

Flexibility of the timing. Can Be out in the nature, than in closed doors. Computer and a phone, company car to drive.

Cons

They dont even have money to pay the salary. Very poor management. Nobody to give the right answer. We felt like we cant solve the problem bcoz there is always break in the loop, and cant move forward. Their promises are too good to be true and they do lie at your face just to get you in. After that you dont heat anymore, and you are at the field all by yourself. No one to check you or ask you if you are doing ok or need any help or if we call the supervisors, they themselves dont know the answer and ask us to ask for another person. At the orientation, most of the teaching are dome by a medical assistant. She is the one telling the Nurse practitioners what to do. - she herself dont know a lot of the answers, how can we ask any questions to her? Every minute, you work with them, there will be fear of uncertainty, sleepless nights, worry about your bills and so on Poor mileage reimbursement. 40 cents per mile only Instead of 54 cents per mile, where most people give. You wait for the car for a minimum 3months. But on orientation, they tell you the car is waiting for us - 🙄

We thank you for taking the time to review MHT. We appreciate your comments and will address them respectfully. As explained, we do extensive research all new employees. We have also hired a Chief Clinical Officer to address the needs of our NPs. Our financial model changed with short notice and that led to payroll being late. We have never missed a payroll and do not have any reports of retaliation against anyone who complained about it. On the contrary, we set up an email address to address hardships and did our best to make sure that no one that requested assistance was unable to meet their obligations. Turnover is traditionally high in the healthcare industry as it relates to Nurse Practitioners. That does not mean we do not take turnover seriously and are working toward the goal of maintaining our NP staff. We believe our salaries, company car and benefits offer an attractive package that is very competitive

Pros

The model is great in the fact that the seniors I care for were not getting the comprehensive care they needed and that was causing them to be in and out of the hospital which was hard on them and many were close to dying.... Now my patients don't leave their home in an ambulance to a hospital or their family members don't have to take them to the hospital because they are worried about how they are feeling. Many tell me they feel better today than they have in many years and are back to enjoying life again and their families and grandchildren.

Cons

I have been paid late but I knew it and I understand that new start up companies struggle at times. I have been an NP for many years and no one is doing what Medical Home Team is trying to do. So there are going to be bumps in the road figuring it out. The biggest con I have is all the bad people they have hired. I have never seen more vindictive and self-serving people in my life! Please get on with your life....you are no longer with MHT. Move on and do something positive instead of trying to slander and hurt a company that is really doing good for the Medicare population.

Thank you for your reason and response and balanced review. We do not ever want to consider our employees “bad people,” as you say because we do believe in the people we employ. However, we do believe that in times of struggle a person’s character is tested and revealed. Many of the people who posted negatively, responded within the emotion of their circumstance and not the reality of the bigger picture. The Medical Home Team mission is bigger and more important than any one person and the group/team think the company is adopting is what will help us accomplish the vision of caring for seniors with chronic illnesses one patient at a time. We regret that some have chosen to be vindictively partisan in their reaction to the company without any honest introspection of themselves. Public slander behind an anonymous curtain doesn’t help anyone. Thank you for your composure.
