      low pay, few growth opportunities, lots of restructuring over past two years. Leadership is a mess with things rarely communicated from the top so employees are left confused about strategy / direction of the organisation

      Pros

      Friendly stress free environment, plenty of scientific resources at disposal, some very interesting research themes, several international collaborations and multi-centre studies.

      Cons

      Sometimes a too laid back and easy going attitude ends up not getting things done proper and on time. Bureaucracy is one of the downside but I suppose that is to be expected in any government run organisation.
