Pros

- Pretty good pay. - Opportunities to advance.

Cons

- They want to go for a startup feel, but fail miserably. - Open floor plans do not work for every department, especially those in the Corporate areas (Finance, IT, etc.). - They refuse to supply any kind of "swag" to employees to show pride in their company, especially at conventions and conferences. Not even T-shirts or sweatshirts.

Thank you for your feedback. We do understand that an open floor plan does not work for everyone. But, it truly is the way for Medidata – even our President and CEO share an office! If you are interested in swag, just contact Marketing or HR and they would be happy to supply you with Medidata branded gear! We are currently updating our items for various recruitment events and we encourage our employees to support our brand however possible!

Pros

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
