Progressive sports media company with a clear path forward - Videographer/Editor Medium Large Employee Review

Through this job I was able to make extremely valuable connections that have changed my career. As a part of the digital side to lakersnation there was a good balance of creative freedom as well as support from from the rest of the staff when needed. With such a fast paced job it was easy to adjust with the flexibility and willingness of the team to all work towards being the best in the industry. I was really able to grow as a creative and this job definitely elevated me to a level I didn’t think I could reach. Definitely one of the best job experiences in my life so far.

Covering a professional team is pretty much a 24/7 type job due to the nature of the industry. It got to be a little too much at times but thats to no fault of the company.

Working at Medium Large (Lakers Nation, specifically) was an incredible experience for my professional career. How organized our team was (h/t to Matt Moreno, a phenomenal managing editor who I learned so much from) and how empowered we were as employees to cover things we were interested in, as well as only rarely being asked to go above and beyond what we were being compensated to do (a rarity in the online sports journalism world). Leaving Medium Large was incredibly difficult, and I can all-but-guarantee you'll enjoy working here as much as I did.

I really don't have any cons to write here, so I'll just try to hit the word minimum. Seriously, this place is amazing.
