Culture isn't what is advertised - Anonymous employee Medius Employee Review

Let's see, where should I start? Throughout the interview process, you will be told how great the culture is and how nice people are. While that part is true, the leadership isn't transparent and they definitely take full advantage of the at-will employment laws in the US. I don't think I've ever experienced a feeling of being misled or mistreatment the way I did at Medius. The expectations were unreasonable at the start of my tenure and quickly turned into a bait and switch overnight. Management wasn't really supportive and gave no indication of a termination. Terminations happen all the time, especially now with the state of the economy but there's a level of sensitivity that should be exercised. There's a level of humanity that should be included with your approach, but of course for that you would have to care. I'm writing this as a warning for anyone considering jumping into the chaos of whatever is currently happening at Medius. Just know you're not safe and if you're looking for a forever home in these uncertain times, place your energy and time elsewhere.
