Pros
- side benefits are okay
- it is a median sort of job
- I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little)
- People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years
Cons
- No management that knows what they are doing
- Not very customer-focused
- Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission
- Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new
- They don't have a lot of integrity
- Very slow to solve problems
- Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use
- Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation
- Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique"
- Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees
- Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner
- Not goal-oriented employer
And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
