Pros
Life balance and very nice facilities.
Cons
Benefits have declined. Medical insurance premiums and deductibles are very high. Sometimes if you are a nurse they will cut your hours and put you "on call" so you don't get pay for that day if they don't call you, and you will need to use your PTO if you want to compensate for the money you have lost. This practice has been used in my opinion to save money and force you to use your PTO.That means that if you are a nurse, and they offer you a full time job (hourly paid) your regular hours may not be guaranteed.
