Pros
Strong brand, national presence, quality product.
Cons
Ownership and upper management have no previous experience in the restaurant industry and claim to know more than they do. They are more concerned with selling franchises than they are about supporting current franchisees. Claim that the company is like a family and that they under promise and over deliver but the opposite is usually true. My job required me to travel 90% of the time but they refused to pay for meals or a per diem. They said that it was not "industry standard". Not only is it industry standard but it is the law in the state of California, which I pointed out, much to their unhappiness. They have since brought in someone at the VP level with extensive restaurant background that has corrected much of this.
