Pros
I loved some of my colleagues and I made some great friends.
Cons
Where to begin.... -Made redundant "because of Covid-19", then attempted unlawful dismissal when informed of redundancy payment entitlements, then re-made redundant when threatened with legal action, then did not pay full redundancy entitlement and refused to pay outstanding holiday entitlement. -Starting salary was £16,500. About 12k below industry standard for the same role. Extremely low wages even for highly skilled roles. -Was forced to opt out of pension scheme despite this being completely illegal. -MD stopped offering PAYE contracts to avoid tax. Only used self employed contractors even though they were working full time, 9-5 Mon-Fri. -Promised bonuses that never materialised. -Extremely poor understanding and management of mental health issues in staff. Unable to meet minimum legal requirements for reasonable adjustment. -Extremely high staff turnover -Management lacked basic knowledge of technology and practices required to produce high quality output. -Out-dated and heavily damaged equipment -Zero career progression -Total lack of integrity and morality in projects accepted.
