Pros

-I constantly met such nice, charming and intelligent people in Mercer, it's definitely the reason that makes you want to stay -AMAZING pension, Mercer contributes SO much to your pot -fantastic benefits (health care, gadget insurance, etc) plus sailing weekends throughout the summer, brilliant! -quarterly team events/nights out plus the inevitable xmas do in the city, always an impressive venue -management do everything by the book, they really care about their teams and will be very fair in any situation you may bring up -majority are genuine trustworthy people. Decent people! -highly professional -very supportive of work/life balance

Cons

-really tight when it comes to salaries and investment. -Deluded by thinking they're keeping up with 21st century digital trends. They don't know what they are doing in this area and really need to consider investing in talented people in the right fields to get them up to speed -typical corporate with too many management layers, this results in the simplest of things taking too long to be decided and turned around -HR department incredibly slow in pretty much everything they do

Pros

paid well, honored sick leave and FMLA, reasonable benefits,

Cons

They don't actually pay bonuses, or at least not to new hires who fall through the cracks of team and project assignments - and they'll claim it's that person's fault with no way to change what's happening around them. Management supports discriminatory and bullying behavior regarding who gets billable work, who attends meetings and on-sites, etc. Mostly, men go and only younger or non-technical women. They had men present women's work as their own. If you protest too much, you're on the radar for life and anything you say can be misconstrued. You'll be told to not criticize or disparage coworkers, even though they all criticize you constantly.
