Historically has been a great company for advancement for self-motivated, entrepreneurial types. Mercer also has an unrivaled array of offerings, specialties and is generally very supportive of lateral movement within the company.
Cons
Mercer has a distinct lack of clarity around career paths and how rewards are distributed. Recently, the company has also engaged in a proliferation of processes and infrastructure that hinders consultants from spending time on clients.
