Cons

Not a con but be prepared to work hard! It's a place that runs after what God is doing with intentionality and focus.

Pros

• Vision-driven culture. The heart of the community is genuine compassion and care — you feel like you’re doing work that matters. • People first. Volunteers, staff, and members regularly treat each other with love, empathy, and grace. • Room to grow. Lots of opportunity to contribute ideas and shape ministry areas if you’re willing to speak up. • Flexibility & autonomy. Roles often come with trust and space to do your work without micromanagement.

Cons

• Organizational clarity. Structure and role definitions can feel a bit loose — sometimes good intentions outpace clear expectations. • Communication gaps. Not every decision is shared broadly, leaving teams and contributors in the dark. • Work/life balance. Passion for the vision can result in not knowing how to "turn it off." Leadership stresses resting well, but there's still an underlying pressure to show up, press in, and serve at so many events. • Growth pains. Systems for performance feedback, development, and operational consistency are not formally developed. Also lots of staff turnover.
