Pros
I have to admit that I was concerned about some of the reviews on here but as I asked the team about them they were quite honest in their response and said that was several years ago and a lot has changed. Normally I would be a bit suspicious of the answer but for some reason it felt different. I am now happy to say that I am glad I trusted my gut and happy I took the job. What I like about Merlin is that I am constantly being exposed to new and interesting technology that solves hard problems. I also like the fact that Merlin is rapidly growing which presents a great opportunity for personal and professional growth if you want it. I also like that I have the freedom to get my job done but I am also able to get support when needed. Though I have the freedom to work remotely I will still commute in the concrete jungle of NOVA to work in our office because I enjoy being around my co-workers and the office is amazing office. I never thought having such a nice office was a big deal but once you actually have it you never want anything different. Overall the experience has been great and will only get better as we execute on the vision.
Cons
Like all companies that are expanding and starting new ventures there is always growing pains. Lack of training for new employees.
