Pros
While my time is limited with the company, overall the work environment is clean, open to new ideas, and collaborative. The salary is excellent, the benefits are good, and the company is flexible with personal time as long as you are in good standing and contribute positively to the goals of the company.
Cons
- The organization is extremely flat, making roles and responsibilities broad and expectations high, which may be a turn-off for some people. - With increased responsibilities comes increased demand on your time. If you do not manage your time and create boundaries then myriad people and superfluous "microtasks" will manage your time for you. - Face-to-face interaction is encouraged to reduce ambiguity and increase accountability, which may also be a turn-off for people looking for remote or ultra-flexible arrangements. - There has been a lot of turnover in past months, driving negative sentiment in some circles, but things are stabilizing and processes are being created to drive standardization, increase efficiency, and improve morale. - Most operations are located in Mexico, so there may be frequent international travel required depending on your role.
