I have sat and read many of these reviews and agreed whole heartedly with most. The cookie cutter responses are sad. The pay is nowhere near market rates. Insurance is off the charts and management is childish and only concerned with their own interests. Methodist claims to encourage hiring and promoting from within. I have yet to see the evidence of that. I have years of experience in my chosen field. I took the position here because it was closer to home and somewhat in my field. My thought was I could get my foot in the door and I’d watch out for a position that would allow me to utilize my experience and training. What I didn’t know was that Methodist has a paper ceiling that they live and die by. Even with my years of experience I couldn’t get so much as an interview for a job I was over qualified for because I don’t have a degree. This is a common occurrence all across the organization. You are missing out on a great deal of talent and experience with this practice.
