Pros
Generally kind/thoughtful coworkers.
Opportunity to help people in need.
Pantry program is excellent.
Cons
Aside the pantry program, program offerings are poorly thought out and incoherent. What does Metrocrest Services even aim to accomplish? No one really knows. Ask every director and you'll get a different answer.
No real policies and procedures for anything.
Favoritism abounds at the director level.
General culture of toxic positivity.
CEO runs organization like a business (and not in a good way).
New building design is impressive but not functional for providing services to clients.
Open office layout means no privacy and lots of distractions.
Agency leadership values "appearing nice" over being truly kind to others (fellow staff, volunteers, and clients).
High turnover.
