Pros
Smaller company, so there is opportunity to work across multiple parts of the business and influence larger decisions
Cons
The company is very disorganized and mismanaged, especially financially. There are yearly layoffs in Q1 because, though they bring in a lot of revenue, the money is not managed properly and they're always cutting budgets to the point that it's almost impossible to do your job. A lot of this, in my opinion, stems from the CEO being so hyper-involved in the business – though she has great intentions, she micromanages. She is in her 70s and doesn't understand the modern marketing space (she insists she is "mentoring" everyone younger than her which is quite patronizing), and demands things you know are a waste of time/money and does not accept feedback. She also lives in Greece for a few months out of the year but expects to still be involved and informed as if she is in the office every day, and when she comes back it's a firestorm of "why wasn't I aware of XYZ".
