Pros

District manager sets realistic goals and is willing to offer help to reach the goals.

Cons

Payroll is too small to run this size building. The manager tends to be the only associate in the store to help customers since the cashier has to stay near the register.

Pros

Had a really lovely recruiter w/ clear email communication back and forth. Process was a phone screen followed by an interview.

Cons

Interviewers were slightly late to the interview. Lots of technical questions, no leetcode style ones though.

Pros

Relatively easy job, lots to keep you busy and moving if you hate a stationary job. Easy to keep moving up from this role. The right team will make this your favourite role! Perfect job if you enjoy being the solution for everyday problems (just get your pay's worth).

Cons

Far too many hats, as Michaels tends to understaff. Can be a real slog with lack of support for training and followup coachings for cashiers. Hard to recommend this job long-term due to typically low entry pay, and pay gaps in similar management roles caused by company decisions over the last half decade or so.
