Pros
Since joining the team, it’s been clear that MCG has a very tight-knit culture. The average tenure is around 10 years, with some team members working here for over 20 years — which is rare in this industry. Everyone is genuinely supportive and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel included. Also, the CEO’s level of involvement in the day-to-day is apparent. He actively encourages and welcomes feedback from all employees and will take the time to personally train you on tools relevant to your role. This was refreshing to me because what I've personally experienced in previous jobs is the “sink or swim” mentality without little to no guidance. This typically sets one up for failure, but at MCG I feel confident in what I do because of the team I work with each day and the value their support brings to the table.
Cons
Customers are highly prioritized (as they should be). It’s just the nature of the industry, but this also means it can be a fast-paced environment with the occasional curve ball. Priorities can shift quickly, so adaptability is key.
