Can't Work When Goals Keep Shifting - Pool Attendant Michelson Organization Employee Review

Pros

If I had to pick something good, the facility was clean and well-kept.

Cons

I came in my first week thinking I'd learn the ropes and settle into a routine, but within a month it was obvious nobody actually knew what they wanted from me. Priorities would shift constantly without explanation, and I'd get pulled in different directions — which honestly gets old. You'd finish something and then get told it wasn't actually important, or you'd be doing it one way until suddenly that way was wrong without anyone telling you. After a while you stop asking for clarity because the answers just change anyway. The whole thing, the lack of clear expectations and constantly shifting goals, it just makes you feel like you can't win. By the end I was just going through the motions.

Pros

I came into the company as a complete novice, but from my second interview, I knew this would be a great place to begin my professional growth. Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow into an Assistant Manager role through hands-on training and strong support from leadership. The leadership at Weinstein Properties is truly second to none. I've gained valuable experience in best practices, negotiation, and effective problem-solving. With over 100 years in the industry, the company’s continued success and growth are a direct reflection of its solid values and consistent, high-quality operations. It’s a place where people are invested in, and that makes a real difference.

Cons

The pay isn’t the most competitive, so if you’re expecting to come in and make a lot of money right away, that likely won’t be the case. However, the experience you gain and the relationships you build along the way are incredibly valuable and make the journey worthwhile.
