Pros
- As with any other startup, you get a chance to work with different modules of the product at a fast pace. That enables you to push your limits to explore, learn, and build new things. - Vibe is great. People here have a very good sense of humour and are fun to be around. There’s never a boring or dull day. - Seniors are very supportive.
Cons
- The product lacks proper vision. The requirement changes with every new customer's feedback. This makes the product specific to that customer, making it less generic and fit for all. With every new customer, there is a feature revamp. - The product doesn't have solid engineering. The core system architecture is not well designed and does not scale even with bare medium traffic. Only UI is being revamped constantly, and no talks about core architecture. The founding team just blindly ignores it or does the bare minimum to fix it (obviously via a temporary hack). New members are neither getting a chance to contribute nor to complain. The wrong things are being blamed when the product performs poorly. - Poor and unprofessional management. There is a lack of communication in almost every major decision, be it appraisals, leaves, or WFH. Don't bother to update employees unless they are explicitly being asked. --- Working hours, WFH, and leave policies are just on paper. They vary from employee to employee and may not even apply to some. --- They literally use office cameras to micromanage certain people. --- Not specific to this one, but they do random layoffs. They fire people without any clear or fair reason.
