I have been given a good balance of support and autonomy. They trust me to do my job but also support me when I need to pull in help. Lots of flexibility and understanding in my scheduling--as long as I get my job done.

Cons

Yes, usual pains of a growing "start up" so be ready for ever evolving processes...but a respectful environment to work in, overall.

Compensation is below market for experienced nurse practitioners. There is no 401(k) match, and the health insurance benefits are disappointing, including limited coverage for the company's own services. Frequent provider turnover results in patients being reassigned multiple times, disrupting continuity of care. Very short appointment slots and increasing productivity demands prioritize quantity over quality, making it difficult to build therapeutic relationships, provide comprehensive care, and earn bonus incentives.
