Pros

The organization has a very supportive and friendly environment. Leaders genuinely care about employees and understand how important the organization’s workforce is to young children’s education; they work hard to ensure that teachers and staff have the resources and support they need. Mile High Early Learning stands out among other organizations in the field because of the numerous opportunities for professional learning and growth.

Cons

As with all early childhood programs, the work is hard, but what we do is fulfilling and important.

Pros

They try to give good benefits compared to other ECE programs.

Cons

The worst thing about working here was the fakeness. The CEO Pamela Harris only cares how things look, not about what’s really happening. So on PD days we all have to sit on zoom and listen to her tell us all about all the great things we’re doing and you sit there thinking ‘then why is every day a mess of chaos, understaffing, and news of the latest firing?!’ Licensing and Head Start say you can’t be one teacher alone with the children but Mile High’s entire staffing plan is set up that way and then they fire staff when something goes wrong in that scenario. The few good people in management have all been fired or left. The rest are so afraid to speak truth to the CEO that its gas lighting every day, every where.
