Pros

Best place I’ve ever worked at, they gave me hands on experience that propelled me into a future full time job

Cons

Long hours, but that is expected in sports.

Pros

Working for a professional sports team is not your typical 9-to-5—in the best way possible, especially if that’s what you’re after. The Wild is a fast-paced, hands-on environment that emphasizes culture and hard work. If you fully buy into the work and team-first culture, the organization is an awesome experience. You feel connected to the team, it's success, and the environment of the Xcel - making it a genuinely unique place to work. The organization cares about the community and growing the game at the youth level. So many opportunities to be part of initiatives that support the community.

Cons

Don't work in sports if you're looking for a cushy 9-5. Hours can stretch during homestands and events, and the pay often doesn’t compete with other industries. Those are common cons across sports. Opportunities for growth can be hard to come by since many people don't leave the organization.
