Salary / EPF - DELAYED salary every time. - They OWE EPF!!! After reported to KWSP, still no results and is deducted from the salary. (This only applies to Malaysian) - EXTENDED PROBATION without any notice/warning, HR gave excuses due to Covid-19 lockdown so they can’t keep track and evaluate. Hence, no pay raise (as supposed said/signed in the contract). Benefits - Able of claim day offs if you work/OT on public holidays, weekends. - All benefits during Lockdown was taken away, giving stupid excuses as there’s no proof of tracking. Management - Zoo. - Unfair or Bias, only listens to higher ups. Incompetent Lead - Bad temper. - Disrespectful towards juniors. - Always give last minute work (work that others couldn’t finish) and force one to OT, regardless if you have plans (after work hours). If one couldn’t finish on time, the lead will blame one for not managing one time well. - Does not give clear and constructive feedbacks. In addition, also blames and scold one if one doesn’t understand. - Fake deadlines, hence giving more work if one finished early which leads to more OT. - Belittle and compare one to others’ productivity (not based on quality of work, but the quantity of shots), and guilt trip one. Work Culture - Crunch/Overwork culture. (it gets worse during the Covid-19 lockdown period) - Hardly any interactions in the studio. - No room to explore, improve and grow as an artist. - Working machines. - More burnout than motivation. CEO - RUDE and disrespectful towards employees. - Does not think employees have a life nor a human. - Assumes his employees are his slaves. Hence, 24/7 working hours. - Only favour higher ups or clients.
