Insurance, annual performance bonus, 401k match, and annual Christmas party were nice.
Cons
Organizationally they are very disorganized and you never really know who is responsible for what. Departments are very tribal and never really communicate with each other. With upper management separated from the other department managers it's all too common to encounter situations where the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Upper management is also wholly unprepared to run a business in the 21st century and can be reactionary to change. Training for management roles is non-existent and it's up to you to feel your way into your role. Promotion feels more based on seniority and personality than ability. Very insular in general with company employees regularly being a cousin or family friend. Upper management can also be a bit erratic and controlling around large or specific projects. It's no secret they expect weekend work and overtime hours. Local file server is a complete mess. Overall just a disappointment.
