Pros

As of this week we have a new President, he's the former COO and he’s the bomb. Open-minded, fair, smart, even-tempered. No more abusive emails from the former CEO, which he was notorious for. The new leader is willing to change with the times, not just paying lip service to it, but truly acting on it. He's everything a leader should be. The morale in sales and marketing departments has improved a lot, now that certain people (like the horrible wife of the former CEO) don’t have nepotism to fall back on. It’s a perfect time to work here (finally) because everyone can truly make a difference now. These are exciting times for Mity, for real. Great, collaborative coworkers, truly down to earth people. The senior leadership is fantastic now. CFO is a great boss, the culture in his team is great. The EVP of marketing, same thing she's fantastic. Leaders in operations are also great. Everyone is a blast to work with.

Cons

There are a lot of slow moving projects that have been made nearly impossible to make progress on, due to poor decisions made by people who worked here in the past. Now we all deal with those mistakes and are working through them. Our employee turnover has been high here so we’re constantly short-staffed. But now that we have a new, greatly improved situation, that’s all changing as we speak.

Pros

Many great products and a strong brand in the industry

Cons

- Leadership is completely disconnected from reality. Calling most of them “leaders” is pathetic. Insecure and emotionally weak followers is more accurate. - Basic business practices you learn in BUS101 or FIN101 are not followed. - Departments are constantly at war and pointing fingers. Trust is nonexistent. - Communication and open conversation is discouraged. Agree or you are a “problem”. Passive aggressive comments welcome as long as they are directed at someone below your pay grade. - Constantly shifting priorities and putting out “fires” with no focus or strategy to achieve overall goals
