Pros
- Ability to grow and work with supportive and dedicated people, who are passionate about their jobs and serving others. - Strong sense of purpose beyond the paycheck - it reflects in the community support and client support. Truly inspiring. - As this is a small company, we all get to wear many hats and engage in various business activities, which makes our jobs diverse, interesting and helps our growth as leaders. - Support that the founder provides. She invests into our education, physical and mental health and you can see this compassion in everything she does inside the company and outside as well. She keeps our future goals in mind as we evolve as a company. - Strong client support structures in place, which create mutual trust and loyalty. - Holistic approach to client services. While many companies claim to have an overarching approach towards financial planning, Modernist actually does it. The company uses various effective tools and processes, guided by impressive client service standards. - There are great educational channels in place, some of which the company utilizes simply on pro bono basis. - Great team of allied professionals and vendors. These are just few of the things that I can mention. The company is small in size but mighty in its impact on clients’ lives and community, as the vision and values are guiding everything we do. The company truly lives through its values: Invite and Include Innovate and Iterate Invest in People and of course Do Good Work and Do It Well
Cons
- For some people, who are not used to entrepreneurial environment, it can get a little overwhelming as there are many things that each team member is responsible for. Personally for me, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for though as there is no better growth opportunity.
