Voted one of the “Coolest Montréal Companies”, this studio certainly looks the part, but beneath the surface, the reality is far less appealing.
After working there, I can say with confidence that the hype doesn’t match the experience.
Ask yourself: Do you want to work in an environment with the emotional maturity of a high school? Under leadership whose ego and arrogance outweigh their skill and experience? Within a culture that feels more like a clique, or worse, a cult, than a creative community?
Yes, there are talented and dedicated people there, and I genuinely enjoyed working with those I had the chance to collaborate with. Yes, the projects can be cool, but they are overshadowed by constant infighting, fragile egos, and a pervasive atmosphere of politics over collaboration.
It is the most toxic studio I’ve encountered in my career, and you deserve better.
