Good place to learn and experience insurance with high profile clients - Associate Account Manager Momentous Insurance Brokerage Employee Review

Some of the previous reviews are not reflective of my experience. From my first interview with HR, Momentous has been a pleasure. The interview process was efficient and thorough. My team members are the best! Since joining the company several months ago, I have found everyone I work with to be extremely responsive and helpful. The insurance industry as a whole is extremely fast paced and everchanging; yes there is a workload and yes I am busy, but I do not feel overwhelmed or overworked. I have resources for any additional information or support I need. The benefits are inline with other offers I received, as was the salary. Since joining the company, I have received a "surprise bonus", been promoted and everything promised in the interview process has been delivered upon.

None this should be your absolute last resort

I joined momentous with high expectations, drawn by its promise of growth and inclusive culture. unfortunately my experience was not met with these promises, resulting in disappointment and bad morale. do not believe what you hear in the interview process. management and leadership: there is no real leadership at momentous - they seem to be disconnected from wants and needs of employees. they are unsupportive and issues escalated are all ignored. they care more about profits more than its people. the leadership is ruthless and heartless. work environment unprofessional work behavior from team members and management and HR responses to complaints are slow - and many times not acknowledged. there is a culture of intimidation. there is lack of flexibility resulting in long office hours with exemptions based on favoritism. it becomes apparent that those favored with get special treatment. producers run the show here and can do whatever they want, treat people how they want and get away with it. you will work long hours and will receive little pay. hr is a huge problem. the hr department should be where employees seek resolution and support but at momentous, it is a protector of management. responses to complaints are dismissed leaving employees feeling unsupportive. they will protect the ones that are favored. I cannot recommend momentous as an employer. I strongly recommend researching the company and speaking with current and former employees before deciding to join this agency.
