Pros
I’ve been in staffing and recruiting for years. Mondo has a boutique culture that is fun and open.. at one point, the office was full of talented and friendly people but they started dropping like flies every couple of months
Cons
-Mondo cannot retain talent, top performers or would be performers leave out of fear of firing. -Management made it clear employees were on the chopping block and that they were actively interviewing potential candidates to take your seat. -I’ve never seen another staffing firm operate in this way, it’s demotivating and quickens the burn out. -Very aggressive firm. This can be a pro or a con, but for me it’s a con. Most staffing firms are not this aggressive, the recruiters here are like trained telemarketers. -Recruiters don’t care about the candidates, they care about the money they can be made from the candidates. -Management doesn’t care about the recruiters. they care about the money that can be made from the recruiters. -If you close a deal before you quit or are fired, they do not give commission. I don’t think this is legal or moral. If someone worked to close a deal then that is the person who should get commission for it.
