Pros

I still stand by my last review whereby management and staff are wonderful etc. this review was left in January 2022

Cons

HR are USELESS in responding to you. I handed in my notice back in January 2022, stayed for the full duration, but have been asking since then to confirm my final wage amount. We are now halfway through February and still waiting to hear back about this. Have chased weekly with my former manager and still nothing.

Thank you for your feedback and I’m sorry this has been your perception of our HR department. We have investigated your concern and unfortunately our Payroll team are sometimes not able to calculate final pay prior to the month in which it falls. Something that you should hopefully been advised of. Employees are always welcome to contact HR representatives directly as well as via their Team Leader. Our HR team endeavour to respond to all queries within a 3 day SLA. If you have not done so already please contact our HR team directly for further assistance

Pros

Close-knit team structure. Reasonable pay. Flexible working hours. New CEO is providing frequent and personal communication about wider business matters.

Cons

Increasingly combative and politicised culture. Colleagues are not open to exploring or discussing new ideas. The culture encourages work for the sake of work, colleagues are frequently online during their annual leave and after-work hours, and line managers have said that if you want to be considered for promotion you have to put in unpaid hours. No clear paths for professional development or growth in role and responsibilities. Line managers are disinterested at best and hostile at worst if you wish to discuss promotion opportunities. Senior leadership can be out of touch with business challenges and opportunities. Flip-flop approach to management from both line managers and senior leadership. The business doesn't reflect and learn from mistakes. However this appears to be changing with the new CEO.
