Pros
MongoDB's technology is second to none. Work atmosphere (Austin Office) was a lot of fun. Great people working there. The Austin Office makes sure they have office events to ensure everyone is engaged. Loved attending those!
Cons
Headcount vs quota is out of whack. The product is free, and trying to get someone to pay for something they have been using for years is pretty tough. Especially, when there is really not a functional change between the free version versus the enterprise version. Sure, there are some advantages for paying for it, but not enough advantages for MongoDB's asking price. They also scaled up sales fast, without understanding the financial trade off of having reps not hitting their number.
