Pros
Smart people but you’ll find those wherever you go.
Cons
The company constantly acquires new businesses with little to no meaningful integration, creating instability and leaving existing teams unsupported. Recently, there’s been a push to cut labor costs through layoffs and aggressive offshoring, with no regard for the impact on clients or team morale. Wages have been stagnant for years. If you’re “lucky,” you might get a 2-3% merit increase (but not every year because if you got one last year they need to spread the wealth to someone else who hasn’t ever received a salary increase), which is beyond insulting and demoralizing. Advancement opportunities are almost nonexistent. Teams are siloed, communication across departments is poor, and collaboration is strangely not encouraged. The result is overworked, understaffed teams and a toxic culture based on no work life balance. Leadership openly leverages market instability to pressure employees, making it clear they’d rather have you quit so they can refill your role for less. If you need a paycheck to get by, take the job. Otherwise, and I can’t say this loudly enough, do not bother.
